Dan Becker brings more than three decades of experience as both a high-level player and coach. A graduate of Fort Richmond Collegiate, he went on to play NCAA Division I basketball at the University of Colorado before embarking on a 12-year professional playing career that included stops across North America and internationally, as well as time with the Winnipeg Thunder and Winnipeg Cyclone. Becker also represented Canada on multiple Student and Training National Teams, including appearances at the World Universiade Games and the Jones Cup. He was invited to NBA tryouts with the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers in 1991.

As a coach, Becker has worked extensively across the high school, post-secondary, provincial, and national development pathways. He completed his NCCP Level 4 education through the National Coaching Institute and has coached multiple Basketball Manitoba Provincial Teams, including leading the 2014 Manitoba 17U Boys to the program’s first national gold medal. His coaching resume also includes assistant and interim head coaching roles with the University of Manitoba, leadership roles within the Canada Basketball Centre for Performance, and championship success at the high school level. A Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Becker continues to serve as a lead coach, learning facilitator, and evaluator within Basketball Manitoba’s high-performance system.

Keenan Benarroch has been involved in basketball for nearly a decade, both as a player and a coach. He played for the University of Manitoba Bisons from 2014 to 2017.

Following his playing career, Keenan served as an assistant coach for the University of Manitoba Men’s Basketball team during the 2017–2018 season. During this time, he also worked as a program coordinator for the Junior Bisons. He later joined the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Women’s Basketball team as an Assistant Coach, a role he held from 2019 to 2023. In the 2021–2022 season, Keenan played a key role in helping the team achieve a perfect 20–0 record, capturing both the OUA and U SPORTS National Championships.

Keenan has been deeply involved in provincial and grassroots basketball. In 2021, he served as the Head Coach for the Downtown Toronto Centre for Performance and as an Apprentice Coach with the Ontario 15U Provincial Girls team. He has also worked extensively in athlete development as a Head Coach of a 14U boys team and as a coach within the Junior Academy program in Winnipeg.

In 2020, Keenan worked as a Video and Performance Analyst for Canada Basketball’s 3x3 Men’s National Team during the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, where he analyzed game footage and provided performance insights to support team success.

Currently, Keenan is pursuing a Bachelor of Education at the University of Manitoba while coaching the JV boys team at Fort Richmond Collegiate and assisting with the University of Manitoba Bisons program.

Elijah Lostracco, born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, has carved a path in basketball, transitioning from a standout player to an emerging coaching talent. His journey began at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, one of Ontario's top high school basketball programs, where he honed his skills and developed a deep passion for the game.

In 2017, Elijah started his collegiate basketball career in the OCAA with Redeemer University. His freshman year earned him a spot on the All-Conference Rookie Team and the Redeemer University Rookie of the Year title. These accolades set the stage for his promising future in the sport.

In 2020, Elijah transferred to the University of Manitoba, where he continued to excel both on and off the court. He graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and capped off his collegiate playing career as team captain. Under his leadership, the Bisons achieved an impressive 18-2 conference record and reached the Canada West Final Four, marking one of the program's most successful seasons.

Elijah's talents extended beyond university basketball, as he joined the professional ranks in 2024, playing for the Jamestown Jackals in the North American Basketball Super League. His experience at the professional level further solidified his understanding of the game and deepened his passion for player development.

Elijah is currently a full-time assistant coach with the Manitoba Bisons. In this role, he focuses on player development, scouting reports, video analysis, and recruitment. His dedication to fostering growth in his players and his commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to the program.

Elijah Lostracco's journey is a testament to his work ethic, leadership, and love for basketball. He continues contributing to the sport and inspires the next generation of athletes with his knowledge, experience, and passion for the game.

Eric Sung is the head coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball team at Dakota Collegiate, where he has coached since 2015. Over that time, he has focused on creating a high-performance environment that challenges athletes while supporting their growth on and off the court. His teams have won three AAAA provincial championships, and many of his athletes have continued to play at the post-secondary level.

In addition to his school program, Sung is the head coach of the Jr. Bison PEBL team and an assistant coach with the Evolve Basketball 18U program. He was recently on staff with the Canada Basketball 16U Female National Team, which earned a silver medal at the FIBA AmeriCup in Irapuato, Mexico. 

Sung has been involved in basketball development in Manitoba for over 20 years. He has served as a head coach for Manitoba 17U Provincial Teams from 2020 to 2023 and has also coached within the provincial system in a variety of roles, including the Boys Provincial Team (15U), the Girls Provincial Team (15U, 16U, 17U), and the Centre of Performance program. He is currently a coach with the Canada Basketball Junior Academy in Winnipeg. 

Sung is passionate about sharing the game and learning alongside other coaches. He believes in collaboration, maintains an open-practice approach, and hosts an annual coaching clinic, Home Court, designed to provide hands-on learning and meaningful discussion for coaches at all levels. 

A graduate of Steinbach Regional Secondary School, Sung played post-secondary basketball at Providence University College. He holds degrees in Kinesiology and Education from the University of Manitoba and is a high school Physical Education teacher at Dakota Collegiate.

Emerson is a qualified educator and coach, graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Education specializing in Physical Education and Biology, along with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.  Through years of coaching and competing at high levels, Emerson discovered a passion for teaching and uses sport as a powerful tool for learning, growth, and development.

Emerson recently completed a successful university basketball career with the Manitoba Bisons, bringing firsthand experience from a high-performance environment into her coaching approach. Prior to this, Emerson was a member of the Manitoba Provincial Team program and competed at the 2017 Canada Summer Games hosted in Winnipeg, where they earned a Bronze Medal.

Emerson began her coaching journey back in 2018 with the Junior Bisons program and remained actively involved throughout her university playing career. This past fall, Emerson coached with the Junior Academy program and will be the coaching with the Junior Wesmen PBEL program inthe spring. During the school basketball season, Emerson is serving as the head coach of theWindsor Park Girls Varsity basketball team focusing on building a positive, competitive, andsupportive team culture.

Emerson takes pride in giving back to the programs that gave so much to her, emphasizing high basketball IQ and practical learning rooted in recent high-level playing experience. With a genuine love for the game, Emerson aims to inspire young athletes to grow, compete, and share that same passion for basketball.

Paul Fust is currently an assistant coach with the Varsity Girls Basketball team at Dakota Collegiate, a role he has held since 2021. During this period, the Lancers captured three consecutive provincial championships and finished as provincial runners-up last season. Paul is committed to fostering an inclusive, disciplined, and team-first culture, both on and off the court.

In addition to his work at Dakota Collegiate, Paul coaches with the Jr. Bison PEBL program and serves as an assistant coach with the Evolve Basketball 18U program. Evolve has won five consecutive club championships, a success driven in part by Paul’s knowledge, preparation, and dedication. 

Previously, he served as head coach with Basketball Manitoba’s Targeted Athlete Program and Centre of Performance Program, and earlier in his coaching career, he led multiple local junior high and club teams to championships. Paul has been involved in basketball in Manitoba for over 30 years. Following a successful high school career, he went on to be a standout player at the University of Manitoba, where he remains among the program’s top ten all-time regular-season scorers. Since concluding his playing career, Paul has coached consistently for more than 20 years. His commitment to excellence has helped dozens of former players continue their basketball careers beyond high school—an achievement he considers the most meaningful in a career filled with accolades. 

Giving back to the game and paying it forward remains his greatest passion. Basketball is also a family tradition. Paul’s wife, Brooke, earned a bronze medal while competing with the University of Winnipeg, and both of their daughters currently compete at the U SPORT level. Kyu attends the University of Manitoba, while Izzi attends the University of Regina. Paul holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and operates a successful financial planning practice headquartered in Winnipeg.

Patrick has been involved in basketball for over two decades as both a coach and a player. He is currently a teacher and coach at River Heights School.


As a coach, Patrick has contributed extensively to the basketball community. At Sturgeon Heights Collegiate, he served as the head coach of the junior varsity boys’ team and as an assistant coach for the varsity boys’ team. He has also been an assistant coach for the 17U Manitoba Provincial Team on multiple occasions. Additionally, Patrick is a coach with the Canada Basketball Junior Academy and has worked with numerous club programs throughout his coaching career.


Before transitioning into coaching, Patrick developed a deep passion for basketball through his playing experiences. He competed at Sturgeon Heights Collegiate and participated in various Basketball Manitoba programs, including representing the province as a player on the Provincial Team. He later continued his playing career at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.


Patrick holds a degree in Education from the University of Winnipeg. He remains dedicated to fostering emerging talent in Manitoba and helping young athletes achieve their goals.

Jonathan Janzen graduated from Miles Macdonell Collegiate in 2008 and has been coaching ever since. In his 12 years of coaching high school basketball, he has worked with both the Junior Varsity Boys and currently with the Varsity Boys program at Miles Mac, which included a 2-year stint at Transcona Collegiate Institute. Additionally, Jonathan has been coached with the Winnipeg Wolves Basketball Club for seven years.

In 2015, Jonathan graduated from the University of Winnipeg with an education degree, a major in kinesiology and applied health, and a minor in history. He spent two years working at Transcona Collegiate, a half-year term at Chief Peguis Junior High, and as a substitute teacher within the River East Transcona School Division.

Jonathan has been involved with the Provincial Team program since 2018. In 2018, he was an assistant coach for the 15U Boys Provincial Team, and in 2019, he became the head coach for the 15U Male Provincial Team. In 2022, Jonathan was the Provincial Team coach at the Canada Games.

Coach Kelli Sinnock brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the program. She has been an assistant coach for the Manitoba Provincial Team for the last 2 summers, attending the Canada Games in 2025.  She has been the Varsity Girls basketball coach at Sanford Collegiate since 2007. In the last 2 years, she has led the Sabres to 2 Provincial 3A Silver Medals.   In 2021, she helped develop the Rural TAP program and has been the head coach for TAP South.  She has also built the Mini/Junior Sabres program, which has run in the spring since 2014, giving young athletes in the area the opportunity to learn from current Sabres Athletes and develop their game at a young age. 

She has also had a variety of other coaching experiences, including coaching junior high basketball, Jr. Bisons, and Legion Athletic camps in the early stages of her career. She was also the assistant coach for the 15U Manitoba Provincial Team from 2007 to 2009. She is an active member of the basketball community and Zone IV athletics.  She has led the Sabres to multiple AAA Zone Championships and  AAA Provincial appearances, including Provincial Finalists in 2009, Bronze Medalists in 2010, and other notable performances throughout the year. 

Through many years of competition, Coach Sinnock recognizes this Province's abundant talent.  She has been dedicating her time to learning from some of the province's best coaches. She has participated in a variety of coaching professional development opportunities to stay current on how to teach the game today, so players can maximize their potential and get the most out of their experiences.  She is dedicated to bringing her experience,  passion, and energy to this program and is very excited to work with this group of 15U athletes.

Riley Velasco brings strong leadership experience from both the high school and club systems, with a proven track record in female athlete development. He is currently the Varsity Girls Head Coach at Kelvin High School, where he has helped elevate the program to increased AAAA provincial appearances while establishing a positive, competitive team culture. In parallel, Velasco serves as the Girls Lead Coordinator and Head Coach within the Summit Basketball Club, overseeing multiple teams from 13U to 18U and coordinating long-term development plans for more than 45 athletes across the program.

Velasco is recognized for his detailed approach to practice planning, game preparation, and athlete engagement. His coaching philosophy emphasizes structured skill development, adaptability, and creating environments where athletes feel challenged, supported, and invested in their growth. His experience coordinating coaching staff and mentoring junior coaches adds valuable depth to the provincial team environment.

Steven Wesley is a high-performance basketball coach and former professional player with over 10 years of experience coaching, training, and mentoring youth athletes. He is the Founder and Head Coach of World Class Hoopers, one of Manitoba’s fastest growing basketball clubs, where he leads the program, head coaches select teams, and works closely with coaching staff across all teams. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen men’s basketball program, where he also played collegiately, and is the Head Coach of the North Star Prep women’s basketball team.

Wesley brings extensive international playing experience alongside youth coaching experience in Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg. He has trained and mentored athletes who have advanced to USports, NCAA Division I, Division II, JUCO, and professional basketball. His coaching philosophy emphasizes player development, mentorship, and creating positive, high-accountability environments that extend beyond basketball. He is passionate about building pathways for athletes and supporting their growth both on and off the court.

Braeden Floyd is a rising coach within Manitoba’s high-performance basketball system, bringing experience across university, professional, and high school environments. He is currently an assistant coach with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen, a role he has held for the past three seasons, with primary responsibilities in player development, practice planning, video breakdown, and opponent scouting. Floyd works closely with the program’s leadership staff and is heavily involved in both individual skill development and team preparation 

In 2025, Floyd served as an assistant coach with the Winnipeg Sea Bears, contributing in film coordination, analytics, scouting, and player development within a professional setting. His coaching background also includes head coaching experience with the Glenlawn Collegiate Junior Varsity Boys program and continued involvement as an assistant coach with the Glenlawn Varsity Boys team. Known for his detailed preparation, strong athlete relationships, and ability to translate high-level concepts into practical learning, Floyd adds valuable perspective and energy to the provincial team staff.

Victor Lee is an emerging coach within Manitoba's basketball system with experience across school, club, and provincial development environments. A graduate of Oak Park High School, Lee returned to the program as an assistant coach before assuming head coaching duties for the varsity boys team ahead of the 2024–2025 season.
 
At the club level, Lee serves as the head coach of Evolve Basketball's U18 female program, following a season as an assistant coach. Under his leadership, the program has achieved significant competitive success. His coaching approach emphasizes team culture, accountability, and long-term athlete development, with a strong focus on creating positive learning environments. Lee is currently completing his Bachelor of Education at the University of Manitoba and remains actively engaged in basketball development through coaching, volunteer involvement, and service within Basketball Manitoba.

Katrina Rogan is an experienced coach with a strong background across school, club, and provincial development environments. She currently serves as the Head Coach of the Vincent Massey Collegiate Junior Varsity Girls program, where she focuses on building confident, skilled athletes within a positive and competitive team culture. In addition, Rogan is an assistant coach with the Junior Bisons Prairie Elite Basketball League program and is actively involved with the Canada Basketball Junior Academy in Winnipeg 

At the club level, Rogan is the head coach of the Evolve Basketball U15 girls program, working closely with athletes on skill development, basketball IQ, and long-term progression. A former Manitoba Provincial Team athlete, she competed at both the 15U and 17U levels before continuing her playing career with the University of Winnipeg. Rogan brings a player-centred approach shaped by recent high-level playing experience, emphasizing development, confidence, and a strong connection to the game.
