Braeden Floyd is a rising coach within Manitoba’s high-performance basketball system, bringing experience across university, professional, and high school environments. He is currently an assistant coach with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen, a role he has held for the past three seasons, with primary responsibilities in player development, practice planning, video breakdown, and opponent scouting. Floyd works closely with the program’s leadership staff and is heavily involved in both individual skill development and team preparation
In 2025, Floyd served as an assistant coach with the Winnipeg Sea Bears, contributing in film coordination, analytics, scouting, and player development within a professional setting. His coaching background also includes head coaching experience with the Glenlawn Collegiate Junior Varsity Boys program and continued involvement as an assistant coach with the Glenlawn Varsity Boys team. Known for his detailed preparation, strong athlete relationships, and ability to translate high-level concepts into practical learning, Floyd adds valuable perspective and energy to the provincial team staff.
