Coach Kelli Sinnock brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the program. She has been an assistant coach for the Manitoba Provincial Team for the last 2 summers, attending the Canada Games in 2025. She has been the Varsity Girls basketball coach at Sanford Collegiate since 2007. In the last 2 years, she has led the Sabres to 2 Provincial 3A Silver Medals. In 2021, she helped develop the Rural TAP program and has been the head coach for TAP South. She has also built the Mini/Junior Sabres program, which has run in the spring since 2014, giving young athletes in the area the opportunity to learn from current Sabres Athletes and develop their game at a young age.
She has also had a variety of other coaching experiences, including coaching junior high basketball, Jr. Bisons, and Legion Athletic camps in the early stages of her career. She was also the assistant coach for the 15U Manitoba Provincial Team from 2007 to 2009. She is an active member of the basketball community and Zone IV athletics. She has led the Sabres to multiple AAA Zone Championships and AAA Provincial appearances, including Provincial Finalists in 2009, Bronze Medalists in 2010, and other notable performances throughout the year.
Through many years of competition, Coach Sinnock recognizes this Province's abundant talent. She has been dedicating her time to learning from some of the province's best coaches. She has participated in a variety of coaching professional development opportunities to stay current on how to teach the game today, so players can maximize their potential and get the most out of their experiences. She is dedicated to bringing her experience, passion, and energy to this program and is very excited to work with this group of 15U athletes.
