The Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA) has announced that registration for the 2026 Spring Community League will open on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

The WMBA Spring Community League (April–June 2026) is a city-wide, community-based basketball league that brings teams together from across Winnipeg for a structured, competitive season. Operating in a true league format with scheduled games, team rosters and certified officials, the program is designed to provide a fun, safe and development-focused environment for athletes of all skill levels.

Teams are formed based on the Community Centre catchment areas. Players register under their local community centre, and if a centre is unable to field a team, participants may be transferred to the nearest centre that can accommodate additional players.

The league operates under WMBA’s Fair Play and Zero Tolerance policy, ensuring that all participants compete in a positive, respectful and safe setting.
