Our friends in Saskatchewan will host the 9th annual 'Prairie Cup Challenge' series of basketball games between the Manitoba and Saskatchewan 14U, 15U and 17U male provincial teams. The male event is scheduled for June 28-29 at the University of Regina, featuring games between the province's top 14- to 17-year-old players. The Manitoba female Provincial Teams will travel to Regina for a similar competition schedule on July 5-6, with the details of the schedule to be released next week.
This event marks the 9th time Basketball Manitoba and Basketball Saskatchewan will send their best to play a series of exhibition games as a warm-up to the National Championships and Canada Games scheduled for later this summer.
