Clarence has been involved with basketball in Manitoba for over 30 years as a player and a coach. In addition, Clarence has been serving as a Director on the WMBA Board for the past four years.
Clarence was a member of three Manitoba Provincial teams in the 1990s and a member of the Junior National Basketball team in 1994. Clarence went on to play five years of collegiate basketball for the University of Winnipeg Wesmen and the University of Manitoba Bisons.
Clarence has coached all age levels (5-17) of basketball in the province, including the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA) league and the club basketball league. In 2021, Clarence was the assistant coach with the 15U Male Provincial Team.
Clarence has a passion for teaching the game of basketball, and it has provided the opportunity to give back to the game and community, giving him many precious memories.
