10 Tryouts for the 2009 - 2010 basketball season. The tryout will be
held at the new Valour Community Centre (formally the Isaac Brock
Community Ctre) on Thursday, September 17th from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
The details are as follows...
Age: 15 and under (born 1994 or later)
Place: Valour Community Centre (formerly Isaac Brock Comm.Ctre)
715 Telfer Street N (behind Isaac Brock School) Between St. Matthews & Portage Ave.
Dates & Times: Thursday, September 17th - 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
** Please bring your own basketball (if possible).**
Cost: $ 10.00 per player
During the tryouts we will be making our selections of players for our elite Grade 10 basketball team for the 2009 - 2010 season. This team along with our other teams will be competing in various tournaments in Winnipeg, Calgary, Fargo, Grand Forks and Minnesota.
Going into their 5th season, the Winnipeg Wolverines Basketball Club, as an elite level club continues their focus on the skills and knowledge of the game of competitive basketball with the emphasis on sportsmanship and team building. They hope to continue their success through the conception of this new team and in turn the success and enjoyment of each selected player.
