Arthritis is among Canada’s most common chronic conditions, with more than four million
Canadians affected by this debilitating disease. Arthritis affects more adults than cancer, heart
disease, respiratory conditions and spinal cord trauma, having a serious impact on quality of life.
I am doing this as this disease has impacted my family as I’m sure it has with many of yours.
The Tournament:
I’d like to be able to offer the following Divisions:
- Gr 6 Girls (1998); Gr 7 Girls (1997); Gr 8 Girls (1996); Gr 9 Girls (1995); Gr 10/11 Girls (1993-
- 94); & Gr 12 Girls (1992)
- Gr 6 Boys (1998); Gr 7 Boys (1997); Gr 8 Boys (1996); Gr 9 Boys (1995); Gr 10 Boys (1994); &
- Gr 11/12 Boys (1992-93)
A minimum of 4 Teams will be needed to proceed with a division.
Strict registration deadline will be Saturday, September 26th 11:00 p.m.; however, I’d
appreciate it if you can email your intent to register ASAP so I have an idea on divisions.
For those of you that cannot join this tournament but would like to support the Arthritis Society,
charitable tax donations can be sent to my address (payable to the “Arthritis Society”) and I will
make sure to return a charitable tax receipt to your desired address.
The cost per team is $275.00 CDN.
Proof of insurance must be provided and teams without insurance must pay an extra
$25.00 to Basketball Manitoba.
