Peg City Basketball has announced registration and tryout information for its 2026-27 season, offering two competitive pathways for Manitoba club athletes to develop their skills, compete at an appropriate level and prepare for future opportunities.
The Peg City Club Basketball League provides season-long competition for athletes born from 2013 to 2016, while the Peg City Showcase delivers high-level fall competition for athletes born from 2009 to 2012.

11U-14U | Athletes born 2013-2016
October 2026 to March 2027
The Peg City Club Basketball League provides a season-long competitive environment designed to help developing athletes build their skills, gain meaningful game experience and prepare for the next stage of their basketball pathway.
League features include:
- Tiered divisions and standings
- Player statistics
- Championship playoffs
- A qualification pathway for eligible 14U teams to the 2027 Canada Basketball Club National Championships
For eligible 14U teams, the Peg City Club Basketball League will serve as Manitoba’s official qualification pathway to the inaugural 2027 Canada Basketball Club National Championships in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The Peg City Showcase provides high-level fall club competition for athletes seeking to test themselves against strong opponents and demonstrate their abilities on a premier competitive stage.
Showcase features include:

- A championship tournament
- Player statistics

CLUB TRYOUTS AND REGISTRATION NOW UNDERWAY
Athletes participate in the Peg City Club Basketball League and Peg City Showcase through independent club teams. The first step for an interested athlete is earning a roster position with a participating club.
