Canadian Forces Base Shilo has announced the return of its Soldier On 3x3 Basketball Tournament, taking place on October 4–5, 2025, at General Strange Hall Gymnasiums A & B. This year's tournament builds on the momentum of last year's success with an expanded format, increased prize offerings, and a renewed commitment to fundraising for the Soldier On program.

Soldier On is a national initiative that supports ill and injured members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, and their families through adaptive sports and recreation. Funds raised from this event will directly benefit Soldier On’s mission of recovery and reintegration through programs such as wheelchair basketball, alpine skiing, swimming, rowing, and more.

The tournament will welcome teams from CFB Shilo, Brandon, Winnipeg, Minot (USA), and surrounding areas, uniting military personnel and civilian players in support of a shared cause. The event format includes a round-robin competition with all teams guaranteed three games. All games will be officiated, and players must be 18 years or older.
