In partnership with the Winnipeg Sea Bears, Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce details of the newly created 2024 Manitoba High School 3x3 Championships! The event will occur on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Sport Manitoba Courts (aka Canada Games Sport for Life Centre). It will be open to high school basketball teams from around Manitoba at the AAAA, AAA, and A/AA classification levels. 

To be eligible to play, the player must academically attend the high school they representUp to 10 indoor basketball courts will be set up inside the centre for the event.  The divisions will be capped after 8 teams register in a division.  We anticipate the event will sell out, so register your 4-person team now!


2024 MANITOBA HIGH SCHOOL 3x3 CHAMPIONSHIPS  EVENT INFORMATION
  • Dates: Friday, April 26, 2024
  • Game Time Ranges: Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Location: Sport Manitoba Courts (aka Canada Games Sport for Life Centre) 145 Pacific Ave, Winnipeg, MB) - MAP
  • Deadline: April 19, 2024, at 12:00 pm OR when a division reaches 8 teams 
  • Ages: High school students
  • Age Divisions
        • AAAA BoySOLD OUT
        • AAAA Girls SOLD OUT
        • AAA Boys SOLD OUT
        • AAA Girls SOLD OUT
        • A / AA Boys SOLD OUT
        • A / AA Girls
  • Team Size: 4 players each (3 on the court plus one sub)
  • Tournament Fee$175.00 (eTransfer, credit card or school invoice options available)
  • Guaranteed Games: All teams will receive a minimum of 4 games each
  • Rules: All games will be played using official FIBA 3x3 Rules with the following modifications... VIEW RULES VIDEO
  • Rules
    • Game Length: Games will be played using a 20-minute running time clock and end with the leading score team at the time OR when the first team scores 21 points.  
    • Shot Clock: The referee will manage a virtual shot clock of 30 seconds. 
    • Official Game Ball: Wilson FIBA 3x3 Basketball for all divisions (shown to the right).
    • Referees: MABO Certified officials will staff the event.  
  • Prizes and Special Events: 
    • The Winnipeg Sea Bears will provide participation shirts for all players and prizes for the top team in each division.  
    • Additional special events will be offered throughout the day.  
  • Parking & Transit: Due to the limited parking options downtown, we suggest teams consider carpooling to maximize the spaces available for the event.  
    • PAID LOTS: Paid underground parking for $2.00 an hour (to a max of $15 a day) is available under the Sport Manitoba facility.  All other paid lots in the area require payment, as noted at each lot.  See the parking maps below.
    • TRANSIT: The venue is located on a major Winnipeg Transit hub with dozens of different bus routes stopping at 145 Pacific Ave.  More on Winnipeg Transit
