Basketball Manitoba is very pleased to announce its Provincial Team Program coaching lineup at the 17U and 15U levels for the summer of 2023.  This summer, the program will feature a total of 4 teams, at the male & female 17U and 15U levels.  The head coaches of the teams (and pictured in the order above from left to right) are Sukhvir Singh (17UM), Eric Sung (17UF), Pierre Dubreuil (15UM) and Michael Tan (15UF).

An early identification camp will be hosted in Brandon, Manitoba, on Sunday, April 16, at a location to be announced.  Tryouts for all the teams are scheduled for May 12-14, 2023, at the Sport Manitoba Courts.  Details on the tryouts will be announced later this winter.

Each spring and summer, Basketball Manitoba coordinates provincial teams at the 17U and 15U age categories for male and female athletes.  All ages are based on December 31 of the year the tryouts occur.  

The teams will be selected from open tryouts May 12-14, 2023, at Sport Manitoba and any Manitoba resident who is in one of the defined age categories are eligible and welcome to try out. Once the teams are chosen, the teams will train through June and July and participate in their respective National Championship.  With no planned warm-up trips in July, a new program fee for the program has been set at $500 per player (down from $1400 in 2022)
