Basketball Manitoba's Tiffany Peape has informed the Association that she will be leaving her Program Coordinator position effective November 4, 2022, as she is pursuing a new career opportunity with the CFL.  Tiffany was hired by Basketball Manitoba in the summer of 2021 after previously interning with the organization for 3 months through the University of Manitoba Recreation Management program in the fall of 2020.

Tiffany has played an instrumental part in managing much of Basketball Manitoba's youth programming over this period including the Todd Mac Hoops School, Jr. NBA, Junior Officials Development Program, Targeted Athlete Program, Junior Academy, Nxt Gen Hoops and Manitoba Provincial Team Programs among many other programs and events.

Tiffany commented, "What made my experience with Basketball Manitoba special and unforgettable was the people. I met some incredible athletes, coaches, officials, parents, board members, and volunteers who always made me feel welcome. The basketball community has always supported me on and off the court which made me love coming to work every day."

She added, "A special thank you to Adam Wedlake, Ross Wedlake, Dan Becker, and Randy Kusano for giving me the opportunity to lead and organize several programs and events. They supported my career goals and provided the resources for me to develop and grow as a young professional. I am extremely grateful for their mentorship and guidance.  Thank you to the Basketball Manitoba board of directors, office staff, and community members for a memorable and fun experience!"

Tiffany's friendliness, hard work, and passion for the game will be greatly missed.  Basketball Manitoba, its Board of Directors, colleagues in the office and the basketball community as a whole wish Tiffany nothing but the best with her new opportunities!
