Providence Men's Basketball Coach Pierre Dubreuil has been working hard and has added his second signing for the 2019-2020 basketball season. Blake, from Winnipeg, Manitoba comes to Providence with an extensive resume which features many awards such as, All-Star recognitions from SCAC league, John Taylor Piper Classic and Calgary Centennial High School Invitational. Blake also comes to Providence with some leadership abilities as he co-captained his Dakota Collegiate varsity team this past season.

Coach Pierre comments on recruiting All-Star Blake by saying, “After seeing Blake playing a couple of games and trying out for the team, I’ve been pretty impressed by his ability to take care of the ball. He has been able to show me that he has the character and mindset to move to the next level. Blake has a great court vision; he’s able to use his speed and ball handling to find the free man on the court. I’m a 100% sure that the team is going to benefit from his basketball I.Q. and hard-working mindset. A long road is waiting for him, and I know that he’s ready for this journey.”

Blake comes to Providence to play basketball and study in the Buller School of Business. Blake commented about joining the Pilots by saying, “I am thankful for the opportunity to play college ball and look forward to taking my game to the next level. Providence will also help me achieve my goal in obtaining a business degree. Thank you to my family, teachers, and coaches for believing in me."
