Congratulations to all teams who won their respective Club Provincial Championship over the weekend!  Thanks to the all time record of 103 teams and over 1230 players who took part in the 193 games played at the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, Canada Games Sport foer Life Centre and Dakota Fieldhouse over the weekend on May 10-13, 2018.

New this year was the opportunity for teams at the 14U age level to qualify for the Jr NBA World Championships as the Manitoba representative.  Congratulations to the Junior Bisons 14U Boys Team and the Winnipeg Spirit 14U Girls Team for qualifying and moving on to the regional stage against the winning club teams from Saskatchewan.  Those games will be played on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the Canada Games Sport for Life Centre at 11:00 am (boys) and 1:00 pm (girls).  The winners of those games will go on to the Canadian National Championship in Ontario later in June and the Canadian winner to the Jr NBA World Championships in Orlando in August.



A special award that was sponsored by NBA Canada and Gatorade was the "Heart and Hustle Award" that went to both Mekhi Lisan (left) of the Junior Bisons and Roshan Cirio (right) of the Winnipeg Spirit.
