The Hitachi Sunrockers of Tokyo in the NBL have announced they have agreed to terms with Winnipeg native Burke Toews. He has coached for the last three seasons at Fujitsu Red Wave (WJBL). Toews helped them to make it to the final for two straight seasons. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese WJBL Coach of the Year and to coach in the All-Star Game.
