HOT SHOTS EXTENDS 2003 & 2004 TEAM TRYOUT
Hot Shots basketball club team is looking for 2003 and 2004 players that are interested in playing at a competitive level. These players will be divided up into 2 different teams by birth year.
We will be hosting another tryout this Sunday, September 13 from 10 am to 12 noon at the University of St. Boniface located at 200 Cathedrale Ave. Anyone interested in trying out this weekend will be joining all players currently on the teams. Please note a registration fee of $10 will apply to new players.

They will be hosting a 2 day tryout at Red River College (2055 Notre Dame Ave) on Aug 15-16 from 9:30am to 11:30am on both days. Parking is free and entrance is located on the Northwest Side of the building. Tryouts are $10 per player (cash only) for the entire weekend to cover the cost of the gym time. Players are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for registration purposes.
TRYOUT DETAILS: Regardless of skill level, we encourage everyone interested to come develop and showcase their individual / team skills. The camp is held at the North Gym located in lower level of Red River College. All players must bring a basketball, water bottle, and MUST be appropriately dressed and ready to participate. Tryouts will be held by the coaches Lenin Mangaron and Evert Pacheco.
TEAM SELECTION DETAILS: Players will be chosen by skill level to play organized team basketball.
MALE players born between 2003-2004 (Grade 6-7)
*10-12 players will be selected for 2003 competitive team
*10-12 players will be selected for 2004 competitive team
MALE and FEMALE players born between 2005-2006 (Grade 4-5)
*10-12 players will be selected for one competitive team
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 2015-2016 SEASON: We are a non-profit organization. All expenses are divided evenly between each player for any fees such as uniforms, team insurance, league / tournament and all facility rentals. An estimated cost is $150-$250 per player for the entire season. Cost may be lower with any sponsorship or donations to the team. The teams will enter local leagues and various tournaments around the city, possibly outside the province such as Grand Forks and Fargo. Please note family travel cost are not included in estimated total.
