The MHSAA has announced that it will be inducting a number of new individuals and teams into the Manitoba High School Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday April 21st, 2012. Athletes include Rick Watts who played at Dakota Collegiate basketball, Nick Papadakis of Daniel McIntyre Collegiate who excelled in basketball and Lynda Chorley (Kidd) of Hamiota Collegiate who was an outstanding basketball player. Builders include former MHSAA President and Carman Collegiate Principal Frank McKinnon, Gladwyn Scott who has been a Superintendent in the Interlake and South West Manitoba and Audrey Jones who was at Tec Voc High School and was one of the first Presidents of the MHSAA. The Hapnot Collegiate Kopper Kweens Basketball team from the early 50’s is the team to be inducted they won a stream of seven (7) Provincial High School Championships in the early 50’s.  Tickets for the induction luncheon are available for $15.00 by contacting the MHSAA Office at...
