The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame is reminding the basketball community that its 13th Induction Dinner will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2011. That evening will see the induction of four players, one builder, and two teams. Arrangements are well underway to make this another very special evening, not only for those being inducted, but for all Hall of Fame members, and the basketball community, in general. The schedule for our 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame weekend is as follows :
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2011 :
1:00 – 2:30 P.M. – Informal Wine and Cheese Reception
Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame
2nd Floor - University of Winnipeg Duckworth Athletic Centre
400 Spence Street, Winnipeg
All 2011 inductees along with their family and friends are invited to visit our Hall of Fame before the induction dinner in the evening. All other inducted / honoured members are also welcome along with all friends of basketball and our Hall of Fame.
Anyone who has not picked up, or paid for already reserved dinner tickets can do so at this event.
13th Induction Dinner – Wellington Room, Victoria Inn, 1808 Wellington Avenue
- 6:00 P.M. – Cocktail Reception (Cash Bar)
- 7:00 P.M. – Dinner
- 8:00 P.M. – Induction Ceremonies

OTHER EVENT NOTES
- The induction dinner will be held at the Victoria Inn, Wellington Room, 1808 Wellington Avenue, Saturday, October 1 with the bar opening at 6:00 p.m. and dinner being served at about 7:00 ; the induction ceremonies will follow at about 8:00
- Tickets are $70.00 each; reserved tables of eight (8) are $525.00 each; tables will be designated and reserved for groups so you can sit with those you know

- We hope to have some interesting basketball memorabilia on display at the dinner ; in addition, we will have some great prizes to give away
