Last week, Canada Basketball wrapped up the first ever Canadian Basketball Congress in Toronto.  The event brought together all the major stakeholders from around the country to meet and speak on a number of key issues and trends facing the sport today.  Presentations included keynotes from Patrick Baumann, Secretary General from FIBA, Alberto Garcia, Secretary General of FIBA Americas, Jim Tooley, Executive Director of USA Basketball and Jay Triano of the Toronto Raptors.  A number of other sessions were also addressed including topics on sport culture, paradigm shifts, recruiting and new Canadians.  NBA TV Canada has produced a 30 minute summary of the weekend which is showing regularly on NBA TV and on its website. WATCH IT ONLINE NOW.  To view some of the PowerPoint presentations used at the Congress...
