The University of Winnipeg Wesmen and Men’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Raimbault are pleased to announce the commitment of Andrew Cunningham to the Men’s Basketball Program for the 2011-2012 Canada West Basketball season this September. The 5’11 point guard played two seasons at Redlands Community College in El Reno Oklahoma. During the 2008-09 season he finished third in the nation in assists with 9.1 assists per game.
“Andrew is a pure point guard who has proven he has the ability to make everyone around him better. The addition of his experience at the point guard position will be a huge asset for our program”, added Wesmen head coach Mike Raimbault.
Cunningham is a graduate of Eastern Commerce High School in Toronto, Ontario.
