- 2 night ID camp (select players will be invited back a 3rd night)
- Aug. 16th at 7pm (Sunday) and
- Aug. 18th at 7:30pm (Tuesday)
A cost of $20 for each player (payable at first practice)
Our camp will identify and select players for the 2009-2010 basketball club season, which begins in October 2009. The teams will travel to Fargo, ND in November, as well as two other tournaments outside of Manitoba. (One during the spring, and the other around May long weekend.)
Each player should come with a water bottle, basketball, basketball shoes and reversible jersey.
As a commitment to the values of the JR. Bison program, we as the Grade 9 age group, for 2009/2010 will have two teams. This will give the opportunity for 20 boys to play/practice basketball, and enjoy the same great experiences as others, as they continue on into high school. We took it upon ourselves to offer this great opportunity to players who may not have the chance to continue on with any other club team.
These two teams will be structured as an “A” team and a “B” team. Each team will consist of 10 players (dependant upon skill levels, this may increase by one or two) and will operate under the same philosophies as in past years. Players chosen will be placed, based upon their individual skill level. "A" team will consist of the top ten players, and the "B" team will consist of the next ten.
