Basketball Manitoba is seeking individuals interested in volunteering as a 'Regional Technical Advisor' for the 2008 Manitoba Summer Games tobe held in Carman, Manitoba, August 11-17, 2008. We require an advisor to represent each of the 7 regions of Manitoba including Central, Eastman, Interlake, Norman, Parkland, Westman and Winnipeg. The responsibilities include being the local basketball advisor for the region and have a solid understanding of the logistics and rules of the game and will be working with the Regional Hosts, Regional Sport Council, Manitoba Games Council and Sport Manitoba. The regional qualifiers will occur in the spring of 2008 and will culminate at the Games in August. The basketball competition will be open to boys and girls teams at the 15 and under age level as of 2008.
