Peg City Basketball has announced it is giving Winnipeg adult teams more ways to play this fall with two league options designed to match different schedules, competitive levels and season commitments. Teams and individual players can choose between the full-season Peg City Premier League and the new, shorter-format Peg City Classic League.
Peg City Premier League
The Premier League offers a complete, full-season basketball experience featuring:
- 20 games plus playoffs
- Men’s Divisions 1–12
- Advanced statistics
- Automatic game highlights
- Player awards
- Sunday game days
- $375 per player or $3,650 per team
New: Peg City Classic League
The new Classic League provides a shorter season for teams that want organized competition with a reduced time commitment. The league includes:
- Eight games plus playoffs
- Men’s Divisions 3–12 and all Women’s Divisions
- Standings and individual player points
- Official MABO referees
- Weeknight games
- $175 per player or $1,650 per team
Peg City is also introducing new Masters Divisions within the Classic League for men aged 50 and older and women aged 35 and older.
Whether players are chasing a championship, getting their crew back together or simply looking to hoop, there is a place for them this season. Registration is available for complete teams and individual free agents.
