The Manitoba Magic basketball club has announced its boys’ and girls’ club team tryout schedule for the 2026–27 season, with evaluations taking place Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg.
The two-day tryout weekend will include opportunities for girls born from 2009 through 2012 and boys in several age divisions covering birth years from 2009 through 2016. Athletes are required to attend both scheduled tryout sessions for their respective division.
All evaluations will be held at Canadian Mennonite University, 500 Shaftesbury Boulevard. The tryout fee is $25 per athlete.
Girls’ Tryout ScheduleGirls born from 2009 through 2012
- Saturday, August 22: 9:30–11:00 a.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Boys born in 2009 and 2010
- Saturday, August 22: 11:10 a.m.–12:40 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 12:00–1:30 p.m.
Boys born in 2012
- Saturday, August 22: 12:50–2:20 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 1:30–3:00 p.m.
Boys born in 2013 and 2014
- Saturday, August 22: 2:30–4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 3:00–4:30 p.m.
Boys born in 2015 and 2016
- Saturday, August 22: 4:10–5:40 p.m.
- Sunday, August 23: 4:30–6:00 p.m.
Athletes and families are reminded that attendance at both tryouts is mandatory.
