Basketball Manitoba has announced the Week 1 champions and finalists from the 2026 Manitoba Basketball Club Championships, following three days of competition from Friday, May 22, to Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre and the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre.
The opening weekend featured strong competition across the 14U, 15U and 17U male divisions, with teams from Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario taking part. The weekend showcased a high level of effort, skill, teamwork and sportsmanship from athletes, coaches and clubs across all divisions.

Basketball Manitoba congratulates all Week 1 champions and finalists on their strong tournament performances. Each division provided competitive matchups, quality team play and a positive championship atmosphere throughout the weekend.
Basketball Manitoba also extends its appreciation to all participating teams, coaches, athletes, families and supporters who contributed to the success of the opening weekend. The organization also thanks the referees, scorekeepers, volunteers and event staff for their important work in keeping the games organized and running smoothly.
Special thanks are also extended to the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre and the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre for serving as host facilities for Week 1 of the championships.
The 2026 Manitoba Basketball Club Championships continue this coming weekend with Week 2 competition taking place from Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Week 2 will feature all-female divisions, from 13U to 18U, with games being played at Sport Manitoba Courts and the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre.
A total of 131 club teams are participating in the 2026 Manitoba Basketball Club Championships over three weekends.
