Peg City Basketball has announced the recipients of the 2025 Peg City Foundation Scholarship, recognizing two individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of basketball in Manitoba while pursuing their academic goals.
The recipients are:
Amadis McKay Nodarse
- Graduated from Churchill High School
- Peg City Role: Scorekeeper, Player, Coach
- Attending Mohawk College
- Major: Advertising/Marketing Communications
Patricia Rodriguez
- Graduated from Sisler High School
- Peg City Role: MABO Official
- Attending University of Manitoba
- Major: Actuarial Mathematics
The Peg City Foundation Scholarship highlights the importance of supporting student-athletes, coaches, and officials who contribute to the growth of basketball in the community. Both Nodarse and Rodriguez exemplify leadership, dedication, and balance between sport and education.
