Team Manitoba Wraps Up Competitive Weekend in Sioux Falls at U.S. Events
Basketball Manitoba has updated the weekend results for three of its Provincial Teams following competition from July 26–28, 2025, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The 17U Male and 14U Male teams participated in the Impact Center Summer Finale, while the 15U Female team competed at the Pentagon Summer Classic. All three teams faced elite U.S. competition and used the event as a critical evaluation point in their summer development.
17U Male – Impact Center Summer Finale

Held at the Impact Sports Center in Sioux Falls, the Summer Finale tournament featured top-tier programs from across the Midwest. Manitoba’s 17U Male team finished with a strong 3–1 record, using this final tune-up to refine systems and execution in preparation for their next major challenge — representing Manitoba at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland this August.

15U Female – Pentagon Summer Classic

Team Manitoba’s 15U Female team competed in the Pentagon Summer Classic, hosted at the Sanford Sports Complex. Despite the results, the event offered valuable high-performance exposure as the team prepares for its next assignment: competing at the Canada Basketball National Championships in Toronto this August.

14U Male – Impact Center Summer Finale

The 14U Male program concluded its summer season at the Impact Center Summer Finale, finishing with a 3–1 record. The event offered the final competition opportunity for the group, who leave the court with experience, confidence, and growth following a successful summer run.

Basketball Manitoba congratulates all athletes and coaches for their continued growth and professionalism. With two teams heading into national-level events and one concluding a strong development cycle, this summer continues to showcase the strength and potential of Manitoba basketball.
Basketball Manitoba has announced that three of its Provincial Teams—the 17U Male, 15U Female and 14U Male squads—will travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from July 25–27, 2025, to compete in two elite-level American tournaments as part of their final preparations for the 2025 National Championships and Canada Games.
The 15U Female Provincial Team will participate in the Pentagon Summer Classic, hosted at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls. This event features top regional competition and provides a valuable opportunity for Manitoba’s female athletes to face strong American opposition in a high-performance environment.
