Team Manitoba Wraps Up Canada Hoops 3x3 U23 National Championships with Bronze for Women and 6th Place for Men
Basketball Manitoba has announced the final results for its U23 men's and women's teams at the 2025 Sun Life Canada Hoops 3x3 National Championships in Toronto, held August 9–10 at The Bentway. The women's squad brought home the bronze medal, while the men's team finished 6th overall after a competitive weekend of national-level play.
The event featured the top provincial U23 3x3 teams from across Canada, with two days of high-intensity competition and a playoff format determining final placements.
Women's Team – Bronze Medal Performance
The Manitoba women's team secured a 3rd-place finish after a strong 3-2 record across pool play and playoffs. Following an opening loss to Ontario, the team rebounded with key wins over New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Alberta before falling to Quebec in the semi-finals.

Team Manitoba Advances to Playoffs at Canada Hoops 3x3 U23 National Championships
Basketball Manitoba has announced that both the men's and women's U23 3x3 teams have advanced to the playoff round at the 2025 Sun Life Canada Hoops 3x3 National Championships in Toronto following strong Day 1 performances.
The national championship, hosted at The Bentway on August 9–10, brings together the best provincial teams from across Canada, with national bragging rights and international representation opportunities on the line.
Women's Team Recap (Day 1 – Aug. 9):
The Manitoba women's team posted a 2-1 record in Pool A action, securing a spot in the quarter-finals. After an opening loss to Ontario, the squad rebounded with back-to-back wins over New Brunswick and Saskatchewan.
