Peg City 3x3 Basketball has announced an exciting lineup of premier basketball events for summer 2025, bringing fast-paced urban hoops and community celebration to the heart of Winnipeg. Known for its grassroots energy and commitment to culture, connection, and competition, Peg City 3x3 will host two flagship tournaments: the highly anticipated Summer Slam 2025 at The Forks and the inaugural CW3x3 Tournament – Championship Weekend Street Festival in downtown Winnipeg.

The annual Summer Slam is back with an expanded slate of competitions and entertainment, creating a weekend-long celebration of basketball, community, and Winnipeg culture.

Event Highlights:

• Opening Ceremonies

• 3x3 U23 Canada Hoops Manitoba Qualifier

  • Men’s and Women’s winners earn flights and accommodations to Toronto for the national final

  • Compete for a national prize of $8,000

    

• 3x3 Community Tournament

  • Youth divisions (18U)

  • Wheelchair division

  • Masters division (35+)

  • Open Adult division (19+) with cash prize (TBA)

  • All division winners qualify for free entry into the CW25 3x3 Tournament at the CEBL Championship Festival in August

• 1v1 Continuous Tournament

  • Boys’ divisions: 11–12, 13–15, 16–18
