The Providence Pilots Women’s basketball team have announced the fifth signing for the 25-26 season. Lauren Voth has decided to commit to the Pilots and our System basketball!
“I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to continue playing basketball at Providence! I look forward to continuing to improve as a player and to work with my new teammates. Playing basketball has taught me to be more resilient, determined and has helped me to appreciate working with a team to achieve a common goal; I want to thank my coaches, my family and teammates for all of their support and constant encouragement. I can’t wait to see how this new chapter of my life as a Pilot unfolds!” Lauren Voth
Lauren is a point guard that can shoot the 3, make layups at top speed and is a good defender. For our team she was given the job of stopping the other team’s point guards as soon as the ball was inbounded. Lauren would run the fast break for our team and she would finish many fast break layups while running at top speed. She would always keep her high intensity throughout the game. Lauren was a key component to our team’s success this year. She is a great teammate and is willing to do whatever is needed for her team to be successful.” Coach Darragh
“Lauren is a player who gives maximum effort at all times. She’ll finish a fast break and then challenge whoever is bringing the ball up on defense. A true team player that will defend for you, bring the ball up, or spot up. Lauren’s work ethic and intensity will have a positive impact on the team. Welcome to the Pilots family!” Kendall Perpall
