Wesmen Women’s Basketball has announced the dates for it's annual spring ID camp. This three-day, high-performance camp is open to players Grades 8 and up and is intended for athletes who are interested in pursuing university basketball. The sessions will be led by Wesmen head coach, Alyssa Cox, and assisted by Wesmen women's basketball student-athletes and staff. Registered players will have a chance to meet the team, ask questions, and experience the level of training and competition required to be a Wesmen student-athlete.

In addition, this year’s ID camp will also serve as tryouts for its Junior Wesmen Prairie Elite Basketball League (PEBL) team. They will identify 10 athletes for a 17U team (born 2007 and 2008) and 10 athletes for a 15U team (born 2009 or later). These teams will compete in PEBL tournament weekends in Regina (April 20-21) and Calgary (May 4-5). Athletes will need to commit to both weekends in order to participate. The cost for this program is $250 per player, which does not include travel costs.
