Julia played for Basketball Manitoba’s Center for Performance Program from 2013-2016, and she played for the Manitoba Provincial Team Program in 2015 and 2016. Julia continued her basketball career in high school at Vincent Massey Collegiate from 2014-2017.
After high school, she continued her post-secondary career at Canadian Mennonite University from 2017-2022, where she helped lead the team to four consecutive MCAC championships and a NIAC championship in 2020. After graduating from CMU, Julia continued her post-secondary career at the University of Winnipeg from 2022-2023.
