Basketball Manitoba is reminding all active basketball clubs in the province of the window of time that tryouts for next year's programs are permitted to begin. As has been the agreement for the past number of years, no tryout for next year's club programs shall begin before the third Friday of August, which will be Friday, August 18, 2023. The time restriction that has been put in place will allow for an equal starting point of time for clubs to plan and begin their programs for the next season and allow for some needed rest and recovery time away from basketball for players, coaches and families. Clubs can continue their tryouts through August and into September.

Clubs looking to communicate their tryout details with Basketball Manitoba can email them at any time to the address noted below to have it communicated by web, email and social media to the basketball community.
