Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce a new podcast series that will highlight, showcase and celebrate those that have been and continue to be instrumental to the growth and development of basketball throughout the province and beyond. The series will include a wide range of players, coaches and others who have been pioneers at all levels of the game.  The series will explore the journey and reflections of a wide range of local basketball people focusing on how the game has impacted their lives and the lessons they have learned along the way. 

The premier episode features Basketball Manitoba President and Chair of the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum, Ross Wedlake and is available now where ever you get your podcasts and on the Basketball Manitoba YouTube channel and the Basketball Manitoba Scoreboard App.  Links to all sources can be found below.  

The ongoing series will be hosted by Darcy Coss who has been a part of the Manitoba basketball community for over 20 years. He was a top-ranked high school player representing Glenlawn Collegiate and Team Manitoba at the 2001 Canada Games.

He then went on to play at the University of Manitoba for four years. After graduating, he continued giving back to the game through coaching and organizing club programs and provincial teams. He went on to become the Executive Director of the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association for six years.

Most recently, he represented Winnipeg on the FIBA 3x3 World tour as a player. He then went on to work for FIBA 3x3. He is now a private consultant and is involved in putting on basketball events all over the world.
