Basketball Manitoba will be following the current regional boundary definitions as set by Sport Manitoba.  The regional map details the different parts of Manitoba and what areas fall into the East, South and West regions.  An athlete trying out for the program must reside in the region they are trying out for.  What school the athlete attends is not a factor.  If an athlete lives at more than one residence located in two different regions, the region that they live in a majority of the time will be used.

  • Indoor sports facilities in Manitoba will be requiring the use of non-medical masks however the participant has the option to remove the mask while active on the court.
  • Players are to pre-register using the below form and complete payment within 24 hours.
  • Players are to bring their own basketball to be used during the tryouts. Personal basketballs should be marked with the player’s name on them to aid in identifying the equipment.
  • Bring your own pre-filled water bottle (a contact-less option to refill is available).
  • Bring your own towel.
  • Players are to come dressed ready to work out and should not expect any access to locker rooms/showers, etc.
  • Hand sanitizer:  All players and coaches are to sanitize their hands before and after entering/exiting the gym space.
  • No guests or spectators are allowed inside the gym due to the configuration of the gym to maximize space for the participants. Parents/caregivers are asked to drop off their children and not remain inside the facility.
