This coming week marks the end of the 2020-21 school year. With the unfortunate loss of the 2020-21 high school basketball season due to the ongoing pandemic, Basketball Manitoba would like to acknowledge the over 1350 grade 12 basketball players in Manitoba that would have finished their high school basketball careers this last season.
We know this past year has been difficult to say the least and we all feel the void that the lack of a basketball season has left on the community. Basketball will return to normal soon and we want it to remain a sport for life for everyone. We welcome and encourage the following grade 12 players to stay active in the sport in an adult basketball league, heading to the park for a game of pick-up or to get involved as a coach or official as the sport returns to normal.
