The Canadian Official Basketball Commission (CBOC) has announced the launch of National Officials Certification Program (NOCP) training. In January, we will be offering two online sessions of NOCP Level 1 training for referees across the country, referees who are early in their officiating journey and others wishing to progress beyond local youth leagues and school-based programs. The development of basketball referees is vital for the game of basketball in Canada at all levels. We are excited to launch this official’s development pathway and look forward to having you as part of our first two training cohorts.

Online registration will be completed through your Game Plan account (http://gameplanbasketball.ca), with the NOCP Level 1 training found under the "Workshops" tab. If you are unable to register for these sessions, CBOC will be offering more opportunities in the future.

Dates of the training are...

  • Session 3 - Jan 26/21 @ 7:00pm and Jan 28/21 @ 7:00pm
  • Session 4 - Jan 31/21 @ 4:00pm to 7:30pm
