Basketball Manitoba has announced that it will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7:00 pm, in a virtual online setting using a video and phone conference call system. The meeting is open to all Basketball Manitoba member associations and to the public. A. Current Board Members = 1 vote each
B. Member Leagues or Clubs - voting allocations will be determined on the 2019-20 membership year
- 6 to 10 registered teams = 1 vote
- 11 to 25 registered teams = 2 votes
- 26 to 75 registered teams = 3 votes
- 76+ registered teams = 4 votes
D. Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame (MBHOF) = 1 vote
E. Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA) = 2 votes
F. Brandon University Bobcats = 1 vote
G. University of Manitoba Bisons = 1 vote
H. University of Winnipeg Wesmen = 1 vote
I. Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) = 1 vote
J. Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association (MWSA) = 1 vote
K. Manitoba Aboriginal Sport & Recreation Council (MASRC) = 1 vote
The 2021 AGM will see five (5) current Board Positions up for election. Those wanting to nominate an individual to the Board of Directors must complete the Board Nomination Form and submit it to the office by email by Friday, June 4, 2021, at 4:30 pm.
All people planning to attend the AGM are to register below by MONDAY JUNE 7 at 12 NOON.
