$2253 Raised for Basketball for Life Fund from Licence Plate Auction

Basketball Manitoba would like to thank the 50+ people who submitted bids on the 24 available lower number basketball specialty licence plates in our silent auction that wrapped up on March 31.  A total of $2253 was raised towards the Basketball for Life Fund that included a $500 winning bid for the 'MJ Plate (BK0023)!  The winning bidders will be notified in the coming days on how they will be able to obtain their specific basketball plates through MPI.

The Basketball for Life Fund has been set up by Basketball Manitoba as our charitable arm of the association with a goal to raise funds to assist more children financially to get and stay involved in the sport of basketball in Manitoba.  Details on it can be found at http://www.basketballforlife.ca
