Tangerine #NashAssist - Yonge & Dundas Square

Tangerine is celebrating its BrightWayForward partnership with Steve Nash at Yonge-Dundas Square on February 11th from 11:00am - 5:30pm. The event will feature guest appearances from Steve Nash and Canada Basketball players*, electronic basketball pop-a-shot machines, cafe and more!

National Basketball Players' Association Community Court Dedication

Canada Basketball is pleased to participate in the National Basketball Players Association Foundation's court dedication at Masaryk Community Center. Canada Basketball's Michele O'Keefe and Rowan Barrett will attend, along with Sim Bhullar. More information on the event here.

Jordan Brand Invitational

TSN will broadcast the inaugural JORDAN BRAND INVITATIONAL. This showcase will highlight the elite emerging basketball talents from across North America. National team members and Canadian rising stars such as Ignas Brazdeikis, Jaelin Llewellyn, Lindell Wigginton and Kalif Young will participate. Canada Basketball Celebrates 125 Years of Basketball

Canada Basketball Celebrates 125 Years of Basketball on February 11th with a VIP soiree at Spice Route.  Big name Canadian talent from the NBA, WNBA and national team, executives and special guests will be in attendance. Hosted by Tangerine, Liberty Entertainment Group, Ciroc and Michael Hill.  Red carpet media availability information here.

Basketball Without Borders Global Camp

The NBA and FIBA are hosting the second annual Basketball without Borders (BWB) Global Camp during NBA All-Star 2016 in Toronto. Canada Basketball is pleased to have four Canadian boys and five girls, including Manitoba's Niyah Becker selected to participate. National team members Kelly Olynyk and Natalie Achonwa will also assist at the camp, along with senior men's national team assistant coach, Bryan Gates. Click here for more information on the camp and here for media availability.

All-Star Celebrity Game

Women's national team member Natalie Achonwa and alumni Tammy Sutton-Brown will participate on Drake's Team Canada, along with Steve Nash who will be an assistant coach. The game tips-off Friday night at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Ricoh Coliseum. More information here.

Rookie Rising Star

Team Canada's Trey Lyles, Dwight Powell and Andrew Wiggins will suit up for Team World in the BBVA Rookie Rising Star game. The game tips-off at 9:00 p.m. ET Friday night at the Air Canada Centre. More information here.  

Canada Basketball Coach School

Led by our coach education staff, CB Coach School, will take place February 12th and 13th at Mattamy Centre in conjunction with the BWB global camp. Twenty-five coaches including Basketball Manitoba's Dan Becker and Ian Dickey will get on-court experience and receive presentations from men's and women's high performance staff, as well as national team athletes Lizanne Murphy, Tamara Tatham, Alisha Tatham and Natalie Achonwa.
