The first annual High School Alumni Basketball Tournament ran November 14-15 at Sturgeon Heights Collegiate and by all accounts was a tremendous success of outstanding participation and play. The organizers would like to thank all participants for being apart of this event as you were the start of something big! The tournament champions were the Sisler Spartans going 3 and 1 in the tournament beating out the Oak Park Raiders in the Championship Final.  All teams had a lot of fun, coming together with Alumni from different classes, representing their schools with pride. Its hoped to continue this newly formed tradition next year in early October. Plans are to add a women's division to the weekend. It's all about Manitoba basketball; let's keep building the basketball community and celebrating the contribution that high school basketball has in developing this game we love!
