In a continued effort to lead and support participation and achievement in sport by all Manitobans, Sport Manitoba is undertaking a review of sport programs and services in rural Manitoba.  A crucial component of the review is to gain information from key community stakeholders throughout Manitoba's six rural regions.  We are currently holding in person meetings as well as circulating a survey.

The objectives for the rural review are as follows:

  • Identification of program and services being offered in each region
  • Identification of “best practices” of stakeholders in relation to governance, program and service delivery and communication
  • Identification of challenges and gaps in programs and services
  • Solutions to challenges and gaps
  • Alignment of key stakeholders as it relates to the identified solutions

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
