The Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association, on the occasion of celebrating its 50th anniversary (1962-2012) today announced its Male and Female High School Athletes of the Half Century. Nominations were invited from schools and the community at large. The criteria considered, was the activities, sports, and accomplishments while the student athlete was in high school. After reviewing submissions, the MHSAA compiled a shortlist of 4 males and 4 females and submitted this to members of the Media for voting.
