RECYCLE, REUSE, REBOUND! Basketball Manitoba is pleased to formally announce the new "Johnson Waste Management Basketball Equipment Recycling Program" to collect used basketballs and shoes for children in Manitoba.  We have partnered with Johnson Waste Management, Basketballs for Inner City Kids, the Manitoba Aboriginal Sports and Recreation Commission (MASRC), the Boys and Girls Club of Winnipeg and KidSport to actively collected gently used basketball equipment for children in need.  With the tremendous donation by Johnson Waste Management of the collection bins, we are calling on the entire basketball community to donate basketballs and basketball shoes to the program so they can be 'rebounded' over to someone in need! You can donate your items to the program by dropping off your gently used basketballs or basketball shoes to one of the 10 locations in Winnipeg or Brandon.  For more information on where you can donate your items and a live counter of the total items collected to date...

Three reasons why you should donate to the Basketball Equipment Rebound Program...

  1. 1. Help a child in need who wants to play basketball but cannot without the basic equipment
  2. 2. Reduce the amount of garbage heading to our landfills
  3. 3. De-clutter your basement of unneeded basketballs or basketball shoes
