The Athlete Initiative Sports Program invites you on board for the Minnesota Lynx Basketball Athletes Road Trip from Monday, August 27th to Wednesday, August 29th, 2012. This ultimate basketball road trip is for female athletes only between Grade 8 through to University, along with our AI staff facilitating this neat experience. We invite you and your basketball savvy friends to witness live U.S. Olympians, Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus, when the number 1 ranked WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx take on the top ranked San Antonio Silver Stars on Tuesday night. What is also included in this athlete’s road trip is your game ticket, 1 hour scrimmage time with other AI athletes on the Target Center court, Lynx perks, AI Leadership Session and a short shopping trip to Albertville! This is a great opportunity to meet new friends who share the same goals or dreams as you, or if you just want a sports themed getaway, grab your friends, your sneakers and join us for the ultimate athletes road trip before school starts!

-All athletes must sign travel consent waivers 1 week prior to departure date
-All athletes must hold a valid Canadian Passport
-All athletes must have travel insurance for the 3 days, (can be purchased through Blue cross for
an additional $18).
