The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame has officially re-opened after its most recent slate of renovations.  The changes include new lighting, display cases, flooring, basketball timeline, life size images of key inductees and an updated induction board.  Future plans at the Hall include more displays and video of past games.  On hand to assist with the re-opening were Hall members Mike Spack, Vic Pruden, Bob Hazel, Dick Bevan, Dennis Alvestad, Morley Rypp, Ross Wedlake along with members of the Ridd family and other basketball supporters.  The MBHOF would like to acknowledge the support of Candace Hogue for her design direction, Shawn Atamanchuk and Big Sky Enterprises and Rick Watts and Fabris Milano for the floor work, Fontaine Electric for the lighting installation, Speed-Pro Signs Plus for the signage and artwork and the University of Winnipeg for continuing to house the Hall of Fame itself.  For 50+ photos of the new hall along with video of the opening...
