The University of Manitoba Women’s Basketball team, in conjunction with
their Shoot for the Cure Bison Invitational Tournament, is hosting a
one day athlete’s clinic. Proceeds from the athlete’s clinic will be
donated to help the research and prevention of breast cancer. The
clinic is open for athletes in Grade 5 to Grade 12.

  • Coleen Dufresne; University of Manitoba Athletic Director, former U of M Women’s Basketball Head Coach (17 years, 3 National Championships)

Date: Friday, October 23/2009

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Grade 5-8 athletes); 1:00 pm – 4:00pm (Grade 9-12 athletes)

Location: Frank Kennedy Center (located on the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus) – Brown Gym

Cost: $50 – this includes: 3 hours of instruction

                                      A pink ‘Breast Cancer’ t-shirt

                                      A tournament pass to the Women’s Basketball Bison Invitational

                                      Access to university practices, Saturday October 24 from 10am-1pm
