Coaching Manitoba is pleased to announce that basketball coach Stephen Tackie of Winnipeg has been named as the March recipient of the Coach of the Month. Stephen is a very active school basketball coach at Sturgeon Heights Collegiate at the JV level. His Huskies team just recently won the Junior Varsity Championships a few weeks back. Steve has also been very active with Basketball Manitoba in the past with the Centre for Performance program, Provincial Team Program, NCCP clinics and special player development clinics in Northern Manitoba.
