Women’s National Teams on Wednesday July 2, 2008 at York University in Toronto. The purpose of the event is to identify athletes for potential
invitation to the women's national team program.
This year, the WNTP tryouts for the Senior Women’s National Team (SWNT) and Development Women’s National Team (DWNT) programs, will be held jointly in one location. The WNTP ‘Open Tryout’ sessions are to be attended by any Canadian athlete interested in being considered for Canada Basketball’s 2008 Women’s National Team Programs Senior and Development.
Eligible athletes interested in participating in the 2008 WNTP ‘Open Tryout’ must pre-register.
Please complete the Profile Form and Insurance form and return via fax at 416.614.9570 no later than Thursday, June 29th. Obtain the form at swnttryouts@basketball.ca.
Please note that there will be a separate tryout for Junior National Team (Athletes born 1990 or later) and that details will be communicated separately.

Please note that all costs to attend and participate in the ‘open tryouts’ are the athletes’ responsibility.
Please check-in for registration outside the gym starting at 4pm and no later than 4:30pm
Athletes selected to continue with the ‘Tryout by Invitation’ July 3-4th, will be transported to Barrie where their meals and accommodation will be paid by Canada Basketball during these two days. Athletes are to bring sufficient gear to cover all these days of tryouts.
